I remember many jam sessions at Eric's house (just down the street from mine). He was so talented, and we enjoyed making music together.

I am so dismayed to learn that my good friend, Eric has passed. Over the years I thought about him and the musical lessons he tought me. Eric was about the most talented pianist I'd ever known and I will miss him greatly.

I too am greatly saddened to hear that Eric has died. He was extremely kind to me when I moved to Maryland in my senior year. Like Eric, I was a pianist, but I had never heard anyone who could play the way Eric did. He was extremely gifted, and he had a way of making others feel gifted too. How much I would have liked to have seen him again!

I remember the day when Eric showed up at my doorstep(my family had recently moved in a house on the same street) and invited me to get together with him - I could sing and he could play. And he sure could play - He was the best accompanist I ever had! I'll always remember the "Constellations" with Roger Bauer, Carl Holland (later Stu Knazik) and the fabulous saxophonist, Jeannie Gardner. We had such great times playing local Moose Lodge's and country clubs.
We stayed in touch over the years and it was difficult to watch him as advanced Parkinson's made it impossible for him to enjoy the thing he loved most..music. There was one time when Eric stayed with me, and for a few minutes, he was able to play once again. He played and I sang, though with a lump in my throat. He was a great guy and I'll miss him and his music, though the memories will never fade.

I can only echo the fact that Eric was a tremendously talented person. His generousity was exhibited in his frequently opening his home to have a bunch of us over for parties and get togethers. I remember one time he took me home after a rehearsal of some sort because he had a car and I didn't. He was a truly kind person whom we all miss.

I think all his friends loved him dearly. He also had a great sense of humor and was a great collaborator for a prank. Does anyone remember the mannequin torso that would show up in the oddest places? What a talent.
