I can't beleive you have left us my old friend.  I pray the Good Lord embraces your soul in Heaven until time has no meaning.

John and family: He was a great teamate and was sardonically funny every day. He was a great punter[ I was his long snapper], a good tackle and a great pitcher. He is remembered for his humor, quick insights and one liners. Now you join your battery mate, Tiny Campbell in that field of dreams.  I echo Phil Franks thoughts my friend. God watch over you and yours til we see each other again.

John was a great football player, He was kind, friendly to all and had a great sense of humor.  Our thoughts go out to his family.  We--of his Gaithersburg days--will miss him.

What I remember most about John was is humor and how he made me laugh and that wonderful smile.

Every time I read of a passing of one of classmates my heartbreaks for their family and close friends.  Some of them I knew personally and some I knew by sight, but every one of us is from the class of 1969 and we will always have that connection.   Rest in peace my friend.
